    In a mixer jar, add ⅓ Cup of shallots, ⅓ cup of Garlic and blend.

    Heat up a Non Stick kadai and add gingelly oil. When hot add mustard seed, and when spluttering add the dry red chillies, curry leaves and saute till aromatic. Add the Sliced Shallots and saute till golden brown. Add the Whole Garlic cloves and saute well. Add tomatoes and saute till soft.

    Once soft add the chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, salt and garam masala; Saute continuously to make sure the masala dont burn.

    Add in the soaked rice, and saute on high heat. After 2 minutes of continuous sauteing add in the hot water,saute well, add coriander cover and reduce the heat to the minimum. After 15 minutes turn off the heat, and fluff up the rice from the side. Serve hot and enjoy.
