Method

Roast the cashews and raisins in 1 tbsp of ghee until golden brown. Transfer to a bowl, set aside.

In the same pan add the ragi flour and roast until aromatic, 5 mins on a low flame. Stir continuously. Set it aside in a bowl.

Dissolve the jaggery with water on a flame and then boil it for 2 mins until it thickens slightly, almost to 1 string consistency.

Add 2 tbsp of ghee and the nuts to the ragi flour, combine well.

Add some syrup at a time to form a dough, in 2 additions.

Divide and form the dough into laddoos while still slightly warm with greased palms.
