Crumble the idiyappam and keep it aside.

Heat a pan/pot, add the cookd ambur biryani paste and saute for 30 seconds. Add the chicken and mix it along with the masala for 2 minutes. Add water, mix it and bring it to a boil. Cover and simmer it for 15 minutes.

Open the pot, add the crumbled idiyappam and spread it out evenly. Top it with chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves and a tablespoon of ghee. Cover and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes. Turn off the flame and let it rest for 5 minutes. Open the pot, add the seasoning oil, fluff the biryani and serve it hot.
