Wash and soak seeraga samba rice for 20 mins

To a pressure cooker, add the Cookd Dindigul Biryani paste and saute for 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms and saute for 2 minutes. Add the soaked soya and mix to combine well. Add 3 cups (750 ml) water and bring it to a boil.

Add the soaked and strained rice. Gently mix until the rice and the water are at the same level. Close the lid and pressure cook for 2 whistles on a medium heat. Allow the biryani to rest for 15 minutes before opening the pressure cooker. Add the seasoning oil and fluff the rice gently.
