    In a pressure cooker, add the Malabar biryani paste and saute it on a low flame for a minute. Add the vegetables and mix with the paste for a minute. Add 375 ml water and bring it to a boil.

    Add the soaked rice and add it to the cooker. Cover the pressure cooker and cook it on medium flame for 2 whistles and turn off the flame. Let the steam reduce gradually and allow it to rest for 10-15 mins.

    Open the cooker, pour over the seasoning oil and the required garnishes. Fluff the biryani rice gently. Drizzle ghee (optional) and serve hot!
